You can involve yourself by preparing the colors and transform your bathroom without spending much money or time required for a complete remodeling.
Small Bathroom Planning - Lighting
Using down lights which can be positioned is a good option and also provides a sense of comfort. Also using spotlights can be considered as they make the room look brighter. You can also add a few mirrors which would make the room look bigger because of the reflection of natural light.
Small Bathroom Planning - Wall Fittings
In case of small bathrooms, make use of wall hanging fixtures, as this would not only save a lot of space but also make the bathroom look more presentable. Also ensure that the interior walls are capable of handling such fixtures easily.
Compact and sleek bathroom suites can be chosen to hide the visible pipes. Some people use ornate fixtures, which are not recommended, as they are not designed for the small bathrooms. Also they tend to attract dust and would make the bathroom look disorganized and clustered.
Small Bathroom Planning - Use of Simple Patters
Simple patterns are suggested for the bathrooms, as they look clean and crisp, and offer a spacious feel.
Sanitary ware to be used should be given a proper consideration. There is a wide variety available to choose from which lets you make maximum use of the small space. A lot of potteries designed for mall bathrooms are available. These can be comfortably placed in the corners and ensure a lot of open space.
Small Bathroom Planning - Corner Sinks
The most recommended for the small bathrooms are the corner sinks and the corner-toilets, as they use less space and leave a lot of open space for other purposes. Another way to save the space and make the bathroom look organized and spacious is to place the shower over the bathtub. Baths which have tapered edges use less space and can be used in these smaller bathrooms. You may be able to choose from a wide range of shower enclosures varying from corner enclosures to pentangle enclosures, which consume only a small area of the room. Bi-fold or in-slide doors are the best option not only to save space but also because they would not restrict your movements.
