That is the reason why linoleum holds the organic appearance. Apart from this, linoleum is environmentally accepted and is resistant to bacteria which often damage the floorings, hence, making it an excellent choice for the children’s room, kitchens and bathrooms.

You can choose from a wide range of colors and styles available in such flooring products. The linoleum floorings are available in six and twelve feet rolls and also in form of squared tiles of twelve inches. The linoleum floorings are referred to in yards instead of foot and the complete installation of this flooring can range anywhere from $6 to $40 a yard.

The linoleum floorings are highly wear resistant and minor damages can be easily repaired. Linoleum colors have a higher penetration through the material. For fixing minor scratches or damages to the tiles, use of pieces matching the pattern and mixing some wooden clue, is the therapy. This paste should be applied properly over the surface. It is also suggested to store a few pieces of the flooring while they are being installed for use in such times.

Make sure that the sub-floor is even and smooth before installing the flooring. The process of installing linoleum floorings is the same as the vinyl flooring, however, make sure to use adhesive designed for linoleum.
