The manufacturer’s instruction manual accompanied by the system clearly states maintenance methods. Follow the user’s manual to clean the electronic air filter or permanent air screen. Apart from this, the best way to avoid any problems and enjoying a cost effective and comfortable is to ensure proper maintenance of the heating system, whether it is the traditional types or high efficient system, the solution is the same.

It has always been noticed that the heating systems which are maintained properly have proved to operate for longer periods without casing any problem. In case of any situation which might require you to approach the professional help, be it repairs or minor furnace problems, call the utility service or visit the company website. In a lot of cases, the company sends qualified technicians to your house to check the problem, without any extra cost.

In emergency situations, when you can strongly smell gas inside your house or near the heating furnace, vacate the house as soon as possible, leaving the door open. Immediately inform the utility service or the fire emergency number from your cell phone or another phone outside the house. In any case, do not use the home telephone or fiddle with the electricity switches any ways.

At times, if you observe that the furnace is not operating properly like lack of heat generation, have a look at the fuse or circuit breaker and master switch. It may happen due to overload in electricity. In case, these are perfect, then the system thermostat might be at fault.
