When you hear the glasses go “Crash! Tinkle...tinkle...”, you know that it is time for an immediate replacement. Normally changing glass is not a major problem. It is quite easy with the older wood windows. All you have to do is to install a new piece of glass after removing the old putty as well as any remaining glass that may be there. But with modern windows, it is not easy as this.

This is the case with some vinyl windows also. If the quality of the windows is poor, this will have implications on cost besides becoming a nuisance. What will you do when the vinyl windows that you have purchased becomes yellow? What will you do if you are not able to replace the glass of the windows? Will you purchase a new blue-white sash for replacement into your yellow-white frame? These are the questions that will face you.
